Satispay: a smarter wallet for consumer payments
Satispay is a Milan-based fintech startup born in 2013.
Since then, Satispay grew up to 137 employees, opened multiple offices in Europe (recently they opened an office in Paris) and raised a total of 110M € funds, allowing the company to continue its constant growth.
The Italian startup provides a wallet for consumer payments. For instance, it offers services such as money transfer, mobile recharge, bill payments and online/offline purchases. It can be accessed through the app that is available on iOS and Android devices. It also offers integrated POS solutions to businesses for accepting online payments.
Satispay is a mobile payment platform independent of credit and debit cards. As a result, it can be used by anyone, with any bank account. It is also accepted by merchants for payments in physical and online stores.
The direct connection with the current account of users and merchants allows the customer to reduce his costs. Users can therefore use it daily to manage their money. On the other hand, merchants can enjoy an economically advantageous, and easy-to-use solution for receiving payments. In addition, it can be used both in physical stores through any type of device (smartphone, tablet, computer, cash register, POS, vending machine) and online platforms (e-commerce sites, apps, social media).
Through the Satispay app, it is possible to:

Furthermore the app represents a powerful marketing channel for stores : they can indeed use it to communicate in a non-invasive way. The merchants can share promotions and special initiatives to the community that uses the service on a daily basis.
